How to Make an Orchid Flower Again

An orchid is not difficult. It just likes a few things done its way.
What it needs
- Bright, indirect light. Near a window, but out of the midday sun.
- Very little water. Three ice cubes a week, or a short soak when the roots look silver.
- A cooler night. A few degrees cooler at night in autumn encourages a new flower stem.
When the last flower falls, cut the stem just above the second node from the bottom and wait: a new stem often appears within a few months.
